The quartet, formed in 2012 as a studio project between friends, has steadily evolved its sound and become a very strong live active band. With their signing to Theogonia Records, AMONGRUINS will release their highly anticipated third album in the summer of 2023.
AMONGRUINS has released two full-length albums, “Bring Out Your Dead” in 2013 and “No Light” in 2016. Their music can be described as modern melodic death metal which incorporates elements from several other extreme music genres. Melodic guitars contrast Sverd’s harsh, aggressive vocals, all wrapped in powerful bass lines and drum beats. AMONGRUINS‘ sound is a perfect blend of brutality and melody, evoking a sense of darkness and despair.
