Returning after 24 years, SCHEITAN releases “Fire at Dawn,” a gothic rock and metal single, as a prelude to their upcoming album “Songs for the Gothic People.”

After a 24-year hiatus, SCHEITAN emerges from the shadows with the haunting single, “Fire at Dawn,” setting the stage for their upcoming full-length album “Songs for the Gothic People” set to release in Spring 2024 by The Circle Music. Steered by the multi-talented Pierre Törnkvist, who handles vocals, guitars, bass, piano, keys, and drum programming, the single sees the band digging deeper into the gothic realms that colored their 1999 album “Nemesis,” released by Century Media Records.

Capturing the essence of Gothic Rock and Metal, the single is an ode to fans of Tiamat, The Sisters of Mercy, 69 Eyes, and Fields of the Nephilim. With recording undertaken at Lucichrist Studios in Luleå, and mixed by the renowned Daniel Bergstrand, “Fire at Dawn” promises a sonic experience that’s both fresh yet familiar to those who have ventured into the gothic genre. The track has been mastered by LANDR, ensuring a polished final touch to a sound that’s been years in the making.
