Eastern France’s DEATH WHORE was formed in 2019 by Fabien W. Furter (WHEELFALL, ex- CHAOS ECHOES) along with the help of Pat Mulot and Pierre “Gorgor” Schaffner (PHAZM, ex-AGRESSOR, ex-IMPERIAL SODOMY). DEATH WHORE is all about savagery: filthy, punishing and uncompromising. Imagine a cross between the brutalizing grooves of Y2K-era Metal Hardcore greats like Terror, XIBALBA, NAILS or ROTTEN SOUND, and Death Metal breakneck riffing in the style and sound of ENTOMBED and MORBID ANGEL.
With seven tracks packed into a twenty-minute aggression, this first self-titled EP was recorded, mixed and mastered in the crushing heat of summer 2019 at Pierre Schaffner’s Les Studios de la Forge. The EP is completed by an evocative and striking artwork by Szymon Siech.
