Finnish melodic black/death metal outfit I HELVETE are set to release their highly anticipated third full-length album, “Halla”, on November 6th, 2026. Self-released and made available digitally, the new record marks a compelling continuation of the band’s musical evolution, bringing together their signature atmospheric depth with the unyielding intensity that has always anchored their black metal roots.
Spanning six immersive tracks, “Halla” sees the band expanding their sonic palette by incorporating a broader range of instruments, enhanced by contributions from talented session musicians. Although the core material was fully written and completed back in 2024, unexpected line-up changes during that same year temporarily delayed the production process. Now, following meticulous work, the finished record is ready to claim its place as a defining milestone in the group’s discography.
The production journey saw the band taking the reins of the recording process themselves, while the mixing and mastering duties were expertly handled by Jari Prinkkilä to ensure a sharp yet hauntingly atmospheric sound.
To build momentum ahead of the full release, i Helvete kicked off their campaign with the single “Nälkätalvi” on August 25th, followed by a second single on September 23rd. Fans can look forward to a final third single dropping on October 15th, bridging the gap right before “Halla” arrives in its entirety this November.
