BLODKARSK started as an underground pagan metal act in 2003, and re-emerged with full force in 2021, delivering immense creative power and energy in the vein of traditional Norwegian black metal. The band released the album “Rotvelt” in 2022 and followed suit with “Jarpi” in 2023. Now, in 2024, Blodkarsk have raised the bar with their third full length “Stupmørke”, which sets out to punch the contemporary metal scene with a clenched fist.

BLODKARSK’s music dwells in the darkness of the deep Norwegian forests, with strong roots to the origins of the black metal scene, but at the same time making a statement of their own. The band presents a raw mix of in-your-face riffs, powerful gut-wrenching vocals and shivering melodies. Together, these elements form a rock solid and authentic expression of energy and brutality.

NEW ALBUM
Stupmørke is BLODKARSK’s third album, and they have really raised the bar with this one. Brutal and melodic at the same time, presented in an direct and authentic way without compromise. The album has eight tracks with one solid riff after the other, combined with catching melodies and aggressive vocals. The music is deeply rooted in old school Norwegian black metal, but it also offers something new and exciting with the band’s original approach to the genre. The songs are wrapped in a raw and organic production, and you can almost sense the rotten smell of the dark Norwegian forests.
