ADLIGA, which in Belarusian language stands for “thaw”, is a post/doom-metal band from Minsk, whose dark and bewitching music tells the mystic stories of fate, loneliness, struggle, decline and collapse. Aiming to mix and match those themes with the ideas and traditions of Belarusian literature, folklore and poetry, the band merges together post-metal, doom-metal and the haunting Belarusian language with their lyrics.
Formed in 2016, ADLIGA consists of vocalist Kate Sidelova, guitarist-vocalist Uladzimir Burylau, guitarist Ignat Pomazkov, bass guitarist Roman Petrashkevich and drummer Artem Voronko.
The group plan to release their first EP, Kali Pacіače Nіeba, via Sliptrick Records in 2020 and are currently working on their debut album, which is expected to see light light of day in 2021. Stay tuned!
